Upstairs and downstairs, 5 bars with 3G and Edge. Same at Microsoft RedWest and Main Campus.

Just this minute, I'm in top (3rd) floor of one of the brick Microsoft buildings on 148th. But generally I find that Verizon reception is very good anywhere in the general area near the Microsoft campus.

I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile and couldn't be happier. I first had TDMA with AT&T and had nothing but headaches. They told me to switch to GSM and it would getbetter. Liars! It was worse. T-Mobile uses GSM too but it is crystal cler and I haven't had a dropped call in 3 months. I travel around the Seattle, Bothell Eastside, down to Renton and am loving it!

I use my phone everywhere in the Puget Sound area. I travel I-5 North from Southcenter to Canyon Park and 405 south to Renton and have GREAT coverage. I left AT&T 6 mos ago and am kicking myself for not leaving sooner. They switched me from TDMA to GSM saying the coverage was better but it wasn't.

Pretty much always have five bars, can go lower during peak times though. Have had some spotty reception infrequently but no dropped calls from my end.

Redmond Ridge / Novelty Hill / Redmond Ridge Dr., Redmond, WA 98053 Mon May 02, 2005

Going up Novelty Hill, there's good reception with Cingular / AT&T Networks. There's a weak spot around Novelty and 208th, but normally there aren't dropped calls. Reception in most of Redmond Ridge is decent, but extremely weak on Redmond Ridge Dr.heading toward Union Hill Rd.

The signal strength hits 2 on a good day otherwise I lose reception frequently. It causes the battery drains out quickly.

Bad coverage, but most of the times I can walk around and get a signal. Eventually.
