Signal is unreliable at best. Phone loses connection all the time, signal strength varies from 0-4 bars with seemingly no control, even with the phone staying in exactly the same place. Sprint claims that this area is in the "best" area for signal strength, but I can't use anything that requires streaming service, which is one of the main reasons I got the "unlimited" data plan in the first place.

Large auditoriums as such in Eckstein Middle School. Sprint doesn't have very many smart phones and the reception is bad up near Snoqualmie Pass, also. I went into a garage a couple of days ago and my phone immediately dropped the call. I would really like to switch to Verizon once my contract is up.

2 bars and consistently dropped calls, Sprint very unhelpful, states the phone is the issue, am eligible for upgrade in 20 days, they state they are unable to change that to rectify the problem, that I can use my insurance to get a refurbished phone to get thru the next few weeks. really don't seem to care about customer service

I get very poor / spotty reception. Anybody get good reception at this location? If yes, who is your service provider and what phone do you use? I want to switch providers and get rid of landline.

The reception is actually 5 bars in my area 90% of the time, but it is not "perfect." Never have had a dropped call with this provider / model combo in this neighborhood. If only sprint's billing services weren't so bad...

I can make calls in my front yard... ..( in my car)... ..but, even then I risk many droped calls. switching very soon. tried a friends phone who has cingular / at&t and all bars were up everywhere. I am off to try t-mobile.

Occassionally get 1-2 bars in some areas of the house. Multiple dropped calls / dead zones on surrounding steets. No coverage on lower floor of our house, where my husbands home office is... major problem. Have called multiple times and they always send someone out but it doens't change anything. My husband is doing this, yet again, but I am ready to try another phone co. Many calls and moving up chain to get out of contract with out $200 fee they want to charge us per phone (we have two)... But what is the point of continuing to pay monthy? We had to get a land line months ago... At least they are cheap now. I think I will also involve the BBB and start doing things in writing- seems to be the way to go, unfortunately.

Receeption and transmission is not what it should be for the money. RTransmission breaks up all of the time as well as recption. Have to keep moving around the house to find a workable location. For over $40 a month it's crap.

We have awful service with Sprint. Dropped calls, missed calls, calls not showing up on screen, etc. I have been complaining for two months and they have only offered to supply us with new phones (which requires signing a new 2yr contract.) Horrible cellphone service, horrible customer service.

Sprint has been horrible in Capitol Hill. I don't receive reception at all in my apartment and I regularly drop calls in the neighborhood. I would NOT recommend Sprint at all. Their customer service has been terrible as well--the store is horrible.

We're switching services as soon as our contract is up. I've never had such bad cell coverage. There's a dead spot on Yesler around 20th Ave and my phone is constantly going in and out of reception as I drive through Capitol Hill. I've also had calls dropped while on I-5 South between Mercer Exit and James St. Exit. Not sure if this is related to reception or to my particular phone model, but the call clarity is also very poor. All of my family is on the East coast, and I'm constantly saying "What?" "What did you say?" when I'm on the phone with them. And yes, this is with my volume turned all the way up.

Unlike everyone I know, this phone gets fine reception at my house. It's a shame the flip's finally broken. According to Samsung's web site, the phone uses CDMA 1.9 GHz / AMPS 800 MHz. But I'm always in digital (CDMA) mode.

Depends on the day, both in my condo and out on the street. When I called Sprint, the customer service rep was surprised I was even able to speak with her on the Sprint phone. Neighbors here have had poor reception with AT&T and Cingular as well. Guess I'm going back to a land line...
