Absolutely no reception inside my apartment. Cannot make nor receive calls. Out on the street, the signal is slightly improved and the phone is usable, though it fades in and out and often drops calls.

I get great reception if I'm outside, or hanging out a window. But I can't get a connection at all from inside my office (Sand Point) or inside hotels on business trips. Inside my apartment and places like malls, the connection is quite poor -- lots of static, lots of dropped and missed calls.
Verizon claimed it was my phone causing the problems, and they did replace it for me, but my reception only improved marginally. My old cheap-end Nokia did fine in these same locations, under AT&T.

Terrible coverage east of 15th St all the way to Madison. I could barely make a call on East John but it may be due to the overhead electric lines for the buses or the large antenna towers on Capital Hill. The Arboretum has such a consistent deadspot that I purposefully avoid making phone calls if I'm near there.

I just moved to Seattle, and was hoping to use my cell phone as my exclusive phone line. Although I have alandline for internet use, I don't have long distance coverage - since I thought I could just use my cell phone for those types of calls. Unfortunately, in my apartment, I can barely get reception - usually 1 bar, sometimes 2 bars at the most. Also, if I'm on the road driving home, as soon as I get to the John and Denny intersection, my reception goes out.

A blowtorch signal at my house on my Samsung S105, probably due to the 2 cell towers on the western side of 15th.
