Sprint coverage is awful. I have many many dropped calls and very poor perception.

West Shoreline has had very poor coverage for years now. Verizon Wireless cannot commit to fixing this. They will even allow you to leave without early termination fees. No 3G or EV. Barely any regular service. On top of this, they typically cripple their phones with Verizon "features". Try installing a browser on your phone or using your own ring tones; impossible.

Lots of drop calls. No 3G (even though AT&T coverage shows 3G). Quality is terrible. Lots of missed calls and many attempts at re-dialing. No service. 2 bars usually, 3 bars if I'm outside, standing on a chair with plates balancing on sticks (kidding) but you get the picture.

Very erradict. Sometimes acceptable. Ok mid-day (low signal competition), challenging in the evenings. 0 signal in north facing day light basement. Friends with Verizon have no issues.

No cellphone reception indoors. Outdoors will be 1-2 bars. Terrible reception on campus, the University of Washington. Seems like ATT and Verizon get the best reception here. I get many dropped calls and undelivered text messages.

Very poor reception with any Verizon phone in Madrona. Lots of my neighbors are moving to T-Mobile. I get nothing in my house but my neighbor down the street with T-Mobile comes over and has 5 bars

Backyard and Basement / 80th and Roosevelt Way Ne, Seattle, WA 98115 Mon Nov 12, 2007

I've been with Sprint for seven years and never had any major problems... .until I moved. I have no reception in my basement apt. none in the backyard or side yard. I can make calls in my front yard... ..( in my car)... ..but, even then I risk many droped calls. switching very soon. tried a friends phone who has cingular / at&t and all bars were up everywhere. I am off to try t-mobile.

From my living room with a view of Qwest Field (irony?) I must not walk around for fear of dropping a call. Sometimes, in my apartment, I find that my phone is on "roam" which is reflected on my bill! Qwest's signal is very, very poor on this portion of Beacon Hill.

I have Verizon and live in alki. The Verizon guy must be on vacation or just doesn't like West Seattle, because I vitually have no service at all over here. Will be switching to Cingular or T-Mobile who seem to have the best coverage over here.

Occassionally get 1-2 bars in some areas of the house. Multiple dropped calls / dead zones on surrounding steets. No coverage on lower floor of our house, where my husbands home office is... major problem. Have called multiple times and they always send someone out but it doens't change anything. My husband is doing this, yet again, but I am ready to try another phone co. Many calls and moving up chain to get out of contract with out $200 fee they want to charge us per phone (we have two)... But what is the point of continuing to pay monthy? We had to get a land line months ago... At least they are cheap now. I think I will also involve the BBB and start doing things in writing- seems to be the way to go, unfortunately.
