	My service is not spectacular where I'm at. My girlfriend's phone gets great service, I get patchy service. I am usually able to make calls, and sometimes calls are dropped, but normally it is 0-1 bar and we get 75% of words. I find myself doing the head tilt-in-order-to-get-the-best-reception-possible move. Just outside of the house my service is great, it seems to be the house I'm in and the phone / service I'm compatible with. Also, my phone has been saying ROAM lately, which is a scare.

	I live on the southern shore of Lake Whatcom, up on a ridge, on a lot with almost no trees. I can only rarely get reception at home, even when standing in the yard. I always lose reception when driving towards I-5 along Alger-Cain Lake Road, or when driving towards Bellingham along Lake Whatcom Blvd. My reception on I-5 towards Bellingham or in Bellingham is a consistent 5 bars. I use the pre-paid plans now to save money, since I almost never use my cell phone anymore, since moving here.

	No reception in Mountain Glen Retirement Community in resident rooms. Have to leave the building and wander around the building. No bars show for signal level.
