very good reception at home - only spot(s) I have problems with are coming south on 167 transitioning to 410 - just as you drive under 167 it can drop the call. Then, coming up 410 it get's touchy as you make the big sweeping left turn right at the gateway monument, right after the German brewhaus place...

12th St. E Near Lake Tapps North Park / Ofarrell Rd. intersection, Sumner, WA 98390 |
Sat Dec 31, 2005 |
T-mobil tower is right at corner of 9th St. E and 182nd, but once you turn onto 9th St. E ( which becomes 12th St. E ) it disappears completely - phoof! GONE. T- Mobile is useless all around North Lake Tapps, in all the winding roads. It drops entirely at various spots down 182nd ( Kersey Way ) into Auburn. It's good AT Game Farm Park, but gone completely 1 block either direction from the park... Good most places in fact, except that whole stretch from Howard Rd.in Auburn up to, and around Lake Tapps. Comes in fine again, at Bonney Lake at Hwy. 410. CINGULAR comes in 5 bars at my house ( near the middle school ), and I've seen that on several different CINGULAR phones. My friend's VERIZON also comes in in my neighborhood OK - not as full as CINGULAR, though. Basically, T-Mobile comes in very strong almost everywhere, but when it drops, it drops hard. But CINGULAR works even in the winding hills around the lake.

Used to have Verizon (hear that sucking noise?) with poor reception. Switched to Nextel and have really good reception at home and all around Bonney Lake.

Lake Tapps Area / South Tapps Hwy. and 190th Ave.E intersection, Sumner, WA 98390 |
Sun Nov 06, 2005 |
We dropped our land line to save some costs and went to cells as we needed them anyway. We get little to NO reception when in the house. Step outside a few feet from the house and reception bars start to go up. Not satisfied with T-Mobile as the primary phone service.

If you live near Bonney Lake do not go to Verizon. They have terrible service. We have between 0-2 bars at our home when we are in the kitchen leaning towards the window.
