Often 0-1 bar with Verizon. Calls regularly go straight to VM without rining. Dropouts are common. I have to go outside to make a call. Cingular was better in the area and given the Cell tower map that's no surprise. Major Cingular exception was there is NO Cingular reception at the Cingular store on 63rd and Andresen.

No Sprint and Verizon dont use the same tower... Most cell companys put there towers near each other like they fallow them around, unless your Verizon phone says extended network then its Sprint if your Sprint phone says Roaming it is Verizon most likely it might be another company but in major metro areas thats how it works

Constant drops in and around home with both Sprint and Verizon. Do they use same tower? How can I find out? Thinking of Cingular / AT&T.

Calls drop all the time in all kinds of places! Have trouble getting any signal inside my house. Then if I do and I move around, call will drop and I have to go outside and walk around and point the phone in different directions until I find a signal again. The Razr is a worthless piece of technology. Only gets one band of reception, so I miss a lot of calls--they never ring and go straight to voice mail. Then I have to get into just the right place to be able to call and retrieve my message! T-Mobil gives you lots of minutes, but if you can't make or hold a call, you can't really use them! My contract's up the end of this month and I will be changing to another company. Had AT&T originally and loved them until Cingular bought them out and it all went to H - E - double toothpicks! Customer service for Cingular was an oxymoron. They couldn't pay me to have them again!

Money in the bank! Let me tell you, if you're not with Cricket right now you're missin' out. Do you wanna save money? Do you enjoy the word "unlimited"? Does it make you feel fuzzy inside? I LOVE CRICKET!

I have been with Cricket for about 3 months now and wow, I thought the coverage was going to be the worst and I love it, I drop more calls with my Cingular phone than I ever do with Cricket. Also some might be scared of traveling outside there network they have this awesome deal called travel minutes and it works! Go cricket thank GOD for no contracts!

Several spots on I-84 where service ALWAYS drops. Also, I-205 on the way to Vancouver, my calls always drop. Sometimes I have reception and other times I dont in my house. I can sit in one spot, have a 15 minute conversation then the call drops. Sporadic.

This is pathetic. Coverage in France and Italy was so much better it became a game to find where I didn't have coverage. The Salmon Creek store put in a new sim chip during my most recent complaint. It did not help.

At least 80% of my calls are dropped, the other 20% have consistent break-up. This happens anywhere I attempt to make a call. This is due to the phone and not Verizon's lack of coverage. Throughout this nightmare Verizons CS has been just that a nightmare. They have consistently insisted that it's not their service, or the phone; what else could it be? I switched back to my StarTac for the last three monthe of my contract and I havn't had one problem with dropped calls or break-up, too bad it doesn't have all the features I need. If Verizon would have provided a little better service I would consider staying with them, as it stands it's time for a change.

Cingular has vastly improved their coverage in Clark County over the last six months, adding around 14 towers during this time period. I believe that several more are planned as well. Most are in the southern half of the county, but a couple are further north. The Orchards area has been filled out well.

Get exellent reception with this phone in all areas around Vancouver, WA using T-mobile. Switched from AT&T / Cingular last month. Their reception was terrible ! At times I would get a message stating that I had emergeny service only and could make no calls. Lost a lot of business due to their bad / non existant reception. They ran me through a series of tests using the phone to connect to a different tower as a default but it didn't work. One operator even told me that my phone was not supported by AT&T ! My co-worker had the same problem with AT&T. Finally switched service and will never go back to them. T-Mobile hasn't let me down.

Living in the neighborhood near Lakeshore Athletic Club, I can count on getting 0-2 bars on a regular basis. Coming westbound from I-5 on NE 78th Street, calls frequently drop out by the time I reach the intersection Fruit Valley Rd.and Lakeshore Avenue. Heading north along NW 21st Ave. from NW 94th St. to NW 99th Street, and traveling eastbound toward I-5, signal strength is unreliable until I pass Columbia River HS at NW 9th Ave. and NW 99th Street. I formerly had an AT&T wireless phone, which wouldn't even ring at this location. My digital and analog Verizon phone rings unreliably, and I often don't receive messages until I drive out for errands. As friends with Sprint phones reliably get 5 bars here, I'll be buying a Sprint phone next.

Began with ATT Wireless which worked well for us. After 3 years, Cingular bought them out. We had a bad experience with Cingular in the past, so we were not happy with the buyout. Now we are unable to rely on cell phone connection at home. We must go outside, and even then calls are routinely dropped. Cingular says they are bringing in more towers. They want us to switch to a new phone (for a cost, of course.) We are waiting out our contract and will switch to another carrier, probably Verizon. Our first experience with Cingular was that they sold us phones and then LIED about coverage. We eventually got out of the contract without paying a penalty, but had to take it all the way to the company's president. Avoid Cingular!

Just switched from Cingular (virtually NO coverage in this area) to Verizon and I'm pleased to finally have a full strength signal at home - even inside. Verizon really does have "The Network."
