In the area that I am in, it is a little iffy, I get about 2-3 bars. In my apartment I have to sit in my bed to use my phone. But for any other wireless company it is a pretty crappy area for cell phones... .but other than that Sprint is fantastic!

Not much reception inside or out. Can make a call outside but drop them frequently and always garbled.

Nextel Rocks in Portland / Vancouver and at the beach. A little expensive, but may be worth it due to the great coverage. Looking at T-Mobile, but the reviews are not looking good. Verizon looks pretty cool.

Long live TDMA, coverage around Clark County is great! GSM just isn't good enough yet.

Five bars ouside my house and 3-4 bars inside. Very satisified with phone, monthly fee and customer service people.

Many dead spots in this area stretching from 78th St.at the south border to 134th / Bliss at the north.

My company has used Verizon Wireless for the past two years. When our contract was about to expire we decided to try AT&T / Cingular's GSM service. Luckily we were only on a trial basis with AT&T because their coverage and call quality was horrible. We have since re-signed with Verizon for another two years. It will take a huge amount of improvement for AT&T / Cingular to get our business. Verizon works well in the metro, the mountains and the coast... you can't ask for more.

Switched over from AT&T because of a special deal. Was hoping to get better reception with a newer phone, but still found it to be quite poor. One bar if I'm lucky in my house. Really hoping we can get some more towers that will cover my area.

No PBS with my service. Happy now for 2 years since they installed a new tower nearby.

I get 1 bar in my house off of 36th avenue. The GSM network works perfectly everywhere else. But where I need great service mostly is in my home office.

I get 2 bars with Verizon. Not sure why. Down the street a few blocks I get perfect reception.

I have been nothing but pissed off at the horrible GSM AT&T coverage I have in the Portland / Vancouver area. This feeling is reflected by many of my friends. Dropped calls and garbled voice all the time. And on major freeways! I used to have TDMA with AT&T Wireless and the covergae was excellent. Do not make the switch!

AT&T is terrible. Their TDMA coverage is better. I live in this vicinity and cannot hold a call. My wife has TDMA and her phone works fine. The crazy thing is that there is a AT&T Wireless Store at this intersection. An employee informed me (when I went in to complain about the reception) that they have a booster in the attic so that the demo phones will work in the store, otherwise there is no reception in their store. In 2 weeks I am going to try someone else.

I have AT&T for a year I started with a Nokia 3590 and had terrible recpetion at home, I could stand outside but not inside and you had to make sure the antenna faced North. I than got an LG4011 and had similar experience. I recenlty got the LG G4015 and have great reception inside and out. I have only lost one call on it and that was while I was traveling in the back country. This phone is amazing, I do not even have an antenna booster.

Absolutely no reception. T-Mobile gets full service while AT&T displays "Emergency Only use on T-Mobile reception." Fruit Valley to Lakeshore Ave. between 99th and Seward Rd. to 134th St. has no service to poor service. Awful.

No reception anywhere in my house or outside my home. I get some reception on Padden Parkway near Albertson's for a few feet then out again until 117th.

Reception fails often. "Emergency Only" signal appears often here. Phone continues to drop calls and goes completely blank as if off. This AT&T GSM network is over sold and grossly inadequate. Cingular uses AT&T systems here, so don't even consider them. Hard to go wirless in this part of the world.

Great reception, no problems at all.

Can only get phone to work at all on east windows of my apartment.
