Always have great reception. The best service by far out of all the local carriers. Have tried them all. With AT&T and Cingular, they drop calls where I have 5 bars with my Alltel phone. Wouldn't switch to any other company. They have the best service "up north" as well. At my cottage in Lake Tomahawk, I get 4-5 bars... INSIDE!

I've been with US Cellular for around 10 years now and since getting the LG phone a couple years ago I've dropped more calls in the last years than all prior years combined. Lots of dead zones and dropped calls in many of the same areas I always had good reception in. I doubt I'll be renewing my US Cellular contract, may try Alltel next go around.

Absolutely poor coverage, at times no signal at all. Cingular customer service in caught between a rock and a hard place, because all they can tell you is the "company" line - "we have tower issues we hope to resolve. No estimated time of repair can even be approximated. Very Very Frustrating.

Never had any problems with dropped calls in this area. Signal strength goes from 4 - 5 bars.

Cingular gets a bad rap for whatever reason but they have pretty good reception in appleton, a few places where service is flaky but overall good coverage. a lot better than it was a year or so ago, maybe they bought more towers or something, but it's gotten better.

Basically, Cingular works in the city of Appleton(most places) and Highways 41 and 441. I have limited coverage in Grand Chute / Greenville and NO coverage anywhere else. I am all over Outagamie County and it get ZERO bars. I have called customer service many times and I keep getting the run-a-round. They are happy to tell me that they are adding a tower in Door County (which does nothing for me). I plan on switching to Alltel or US Cellular.

I can't get any reception inside my house and barely get one bar when outside. Then if I am in the middle of a call it tries to switch to a extended tower and it drops the call. It does this with extreme consistancy. I'm probably going to switch to Sprint because of it.

US Cellular has more towers in the southern half of the state of Wisconsin than any other company! Get a Motorola or a Nokia and you will not be dissappointed
