I am troubled to see that the chart of carriers for the Berlin area lists Nextel first and doesn't even list US Cellular. Since Alltel and US Cellular are the ONLY companies with local offices of any kind, this seems illogical. It also doesn't include US Cellular in the list of companies with cell towers. Since only one of the three towers on the Berlin map can be attributed to any of the companies listed (Alltel) I assume both of the others are probably US Cellular towers. While I'm not 100% thrilled with US Cellular's reception on my Samsung, and I've had some issues with any phone I've had including Motorola, LG, and others, for this area there doesn't seem to be a viable alternative. I haven't tried Alltel for quite awhile other than their wireless data card which was TOTALLY useless out at my house, and cost me a lot of money to just test it long enough to find that out. But overall US Cellular's service is much better than I've ever gotten from Alltel, so I've stuck with them.
