I used to have great service with AT&T but ever since Cingular bought them out I got NO reception at my house or at work. I spoke with someone at T-Mobile and was told that they have excellent coverage in Franklin and Brookfield. Since those locations are the two places that I really need to use my phone I decided to give it a try. BIG mistake! T-Mobile sucks just as much as having non-exsisting phone service. I have no reception at home, driving to work, at work and just about EVERY where else, oh except in Mayfair mall. That seems to be the only place I have a signal. I started out using a Motorola phone then tried a Samsung phone. After two unsuccessful attempts to get a signal, the sales manager actually gave me HIS phone (Nokia) to take back to work with me to test the signal - NOTHING. I'm not sure what to do at this point. However, everyone in my office has at least 3 bars on their phone with Verizon. Maybe i'll give that a try... I won't hold my breath.

T-Mobile has a very competitive regional plan (3000 anytime minutes for $49.00), however, I find that the reception is below average. When in some buildings, collegues have good reception with their phones and I get none. Forget about using the phone in much of Elm Grove and parts of Wauwatosa. Between Madison and Milwaukee it is very poor. Between Milwaukee and Lake Geneva, reception is very poor. In much of northern Wisconsin -- forget about it. The customer service with T-Mobile is excellent. Remember, my review is with the regional plan which, I believe, uses a different technology than the national plan.
