The reception is great in metro areas (Milwaukee, Chicago), but anywhere outside of that is a no-go. I roam in my own bedroom. Calls cut out and in or just drop constantly, and normally I have 2 bars if I'm lucky.

Lauderdale Lake area stinks. Rarely get reception at all. My cell phone is basically useless here. My brothers phone has all 4 bars when he visits and he uses US Cellular. I am going to switch.

Usually the signal is weak. I often have to go outside to use the cell phone. Even on my back porch I can go from one to four bars depending on where I'm standing.

Spotty at best. Many dropped calls, low service bars (none). Going to try a Razr and see if there is improvement.

I drive by that area on US 12, excellent reception from the tower located at 12-67-20

Need a U S Cellular tower near Lost Nation Rd and Cool Hill Rd and Nine Indian Trail to compensate for the low lying areas in Lauderdale Lakes of which there are many with a population in this area almost equivilent to city of Elkhorn.
