Hilly terrain in Fish Creek gives 5 bars at hilltops and most of Main St.shopping / entertainment district but there is still a very usable 1-2 bars at marina and waters edge.

With a new tower at the top of the hill in Fish Creek, reception couldn't be any better all over town. Nextel service in Door County keeps getting better and better. A new antenna in Jacksonport and another coming soon to Baileys Harbor complete solid connections all the way to Green Bay. Dead spots exist in Ephraim and north of Ellison Bay. But towers on the peninsula in Egg Harbor, Sister Bay, Carlsville, two in Sturgeon Bay and Algoma make Nextel reception in most of Door County very dependable
