I can almost always use my iPhone in the Hayward area. I don't get 3G service, but I have about 3 bars on my phone when in my home. When you get up near '00' you lose coverage.

Service pretty much sucks in the entire area except in town. I have to use a Yagi antenna on my roof to be able to use the phone. ATT no longer offers any new phones that have antenna plug in jacks so I am stuck with this LG that has poor reception. I use a booster in the car plugged into the phone and I think it makes reception worse as it locks on to a far ATT tower instead of a closer one from another provider that it might have gotten without the booster. Many areas from Hayward to Eau Claire seem to have gotten worse over recent years. I think ATT has not renewed contracts for use of other carriers towers.

Noticed that service has gotten worse since Alltel and Verizon combined. Most of the time I have no reception.

Coverage is very weak once you leave Hayward. In this area an amplifier in your car with external antenna are a must. Also need Yagi antenna in home

Almost no reception unless you use an external antenna. Works great everywhere else. The V710 / E815 get about the best reception of any phone out there.

Once I pass through Ladysmith, WI on hwy 27 I have no signal at all. They are another company that promised towers and of course they never appeared. Am currently looking for a service provider with coverage in the area and not roaming coverage!

We have had CellularOne for a couple of years. We live in Hayward, Wisconsin. Once you leave the city limits there is no reception for 20 miles. One of the nice things about the cell phone is it is portable. I have been told that we should invest in a booster antenna for the car to get better reception away from home. How mobile is that in the woods, on the lake, in the cabin or just outside? There is a must need for a tower in the Springbrook area. All of the Verizon, T-Mobile, Cingular and Nextel customers coming from major cities all have reception in this area, but nobody offers these services in this area. It makes no sense.
