This area seems to be a 'black hole'. The only person who's ever completed a cell call was using a Razor phone on US Cellular.

Changed from AT&T to Sprint hoping for better reception when on the road. Sprint is just as bad if not worse. Phone goes into analog roam and sucks battery dry. So much for having a cell phone in case of an emergency. If I needed to use mine it wouldn't work or the battery would die in use. This happens all over the state not just in this area. When I am at home I go into analog roam in my basement, Sprint says they don't guarentee service inside your home. Told me to have my phone checked, when you call the local store you get an answering machine asking you to leave a number to schedule an appointment,

I tested USCellular and Alltel at my house and I only got reception from Alltel. I never roam and I don't have problems with droped calls or running out of minutes. Alltel is very reliable.
