trac fone works better with better customer service from them as well.

Past month have been getting no data service or dropped calls or no call signal. Whats going on. All I got from customer service is that I now live in a 2 or 3g network. But that shouldnt affect my calls and has never been an issue until past month... anyone know the real reason?

No reception at home, in order to even get a call I must leave the phone on the window sill, and then it is mostly static. Forget it if I move just a little, the call drops. I also can't get reception in most stores. If I want to have a full conversation I have to go outside of my home.

At home 1 bar sometimes 2. inside or outside.

Sprint is very reliable in Kenosha. I have very good service throughout the city. Downtown and along the lake I usually get all my bars. The only place I sometimes have issues is on Green Bay road between 116th St. and the Illinois Border. I have yet to find a store where I dont get service inside also.

Good coverage except in my HOME! Cannot hear anyone. Told AT&T I was afraid I would not be able to dial 911 - they said move outside or DRIVE to another location! Most AT&T reps are rude, arrogant and condescending. Will have to eat ETF and get my landline back. Thinking of AT&T? Don't do it, you'll be sorry.

Like many I have to stand OUTSIDE to get one bar! Terrible, many dropped calls along lake shore in Kenosha :-( In the house phone does not work at all, have tried 3 different phones. Every time I call or go to store they try to extend my contract! Time to switch. Can you hear me now? NO!

Constantly have problems with reception in the house. The phone always shows searching or may have 1 bar, if lucky. I've opened support cases with AT&T and they claim new towers are expected to be activated in Sept. Oct. 2010. I am hopeful that this is true and that the service will become much more reliable. My wife has a Motorola Karma, same thing with her... Constant interruptions with services through AT&T. They've attempted to register our phones to different towers in the area, and this was unsuccessful as the services are if anything worse. It would be nice if AT&T would get their stuff together and live up to their advertisements with 'more bars in more places'.

At and t has none or little service in my area. I usually have to dial a number 3 or 4 times to get through. When I am able to make a phone connection, most of the time the phone cuts in and out and I usually can't understand the person on the other end. I constantly complain to At and T but the service remains the same - extremely poor. Consumer reports 2010 rates At and T as one of the worse for signal reception. At and T has an indoor attenaa, but you have to get their home landline phone service to plug it in to a landline. ( what a money scam). I also read other reviews which rate other cell providers in the area as poor reception. I guess that Kenosha WI. is a place where cell phone providers put the cheap phone towers in that don't work.

In my home I get 0 to 1 bar on a good day. Outside I get 1 and sometimes 2 bars. I purchased a whole house antenna and it would not work because the signal was sooooooo bad. I cannot wait for my contract to be up so I can dump this dog service. I am one year into my two year contract. They need to take the RED digital service off the map for Kenosha, WI. I dream of some day not dropping a call in my house!

Never had a problem with T-Mobile before moving here. Calls drop all the time when I am inside or out it's killing me.

i have always and I mean always had excellent reception on sprint. my son and daughter both have diferent plans with different phones and never seem to be able to make calls, for my money its Sprint and nothing but sprint, weather its down in my basement or out all over kenosha it never faulters, ever,,,,,,,,,cingular and AT&T are a joke, I couldnt even call across my living room,

Usually a low signal, but never a problem making or receiving calls. Can't remember when I couldn't use the phone. I am switching to T-Mobile for a lower monthly payment... Hope coverage is better than it was 2 years ago.

Around here I get good reception outside. Inside, however, either one bar or nothing.

Poor, Poor reception. Dropped calls abound, static, fading in and out-cannot make calls from within the home, sometimes can make from outdoors, but spotty and no area seems to be definite in terms of good coverage. All told, AT and T stinks, and seems to have gotten worse since Cingular. We will terminate service when contract is up.

standing in a big open field with nothing around but goose crap, I have 1 bar! Inside my house I practicly have to wear a tin foil hat to get any reception. Might as well set fire to a big pile of money rather than paying for this service.

I get dropped calls so much anywhere I go a say "crap" people aske, "cingular". I reply "yep". Most of everyone I know is curently a carrier of Cingular (AT&T), we all have different phones. All brands of phones drop all around town. Sometime it takes days to get my messages. Five bars my butt. They really should stop bragging about the whole " no dropped call" thing, we have all let them know theres problems with thier service, they don't seem to care. I guess when you're the cheapest phone plan out there suckers will continue to pay.

I almost never have problems with dropped calls. Sometimes will get the no service message, but for the most part Nextel is very good in this area. I would recommend it to anyone looking for service in this town.
