When in Madison, data and voice are just fine. But at home, 20 miles north of Madison, my phone is just a paper weight. If you stand in the middle of the driveway, you might get a text message out if you're lucky. Forget voice or data. My contract is up and I'm done waiting for AT&T to add a few towers in the area.

I have Straight Talk working off AT&T (some of their phones work on Verizon). I get rock solid reception in the City of Lodi. Never had a dropped call; more reliable than my Charter landline which I have gotten rid of. Reception drops to a single bar or disappears altogether in Harmony Grove. Happily, I don't live there.

I'm lucky if I can get a half bar at my house in Harmony Grove. Sometimes the phone will ring, sometimes not. My phone will signal voicemails hours after actually receiving them. Calls are dropped constantly driving from Madison to Lodi. I thought this might be from the transfers of the towers, however this also happens while driving around Madison. Cingular's newest marketing is the least dropped calls of any carrier. I BEG TO DIFFER!
