Usually get one maybe 2 bars. Not sure if it is the phone or the service.

Always great reception anywhere in Madison. Never lose calls! Campus area is a little fuzzy in buildings, but that is to be expected. Highly recommend this provider for reception and overall service!

I've had my phone for about 3 weeks now, it's great, usually is 6-7 bars, indoors sometimes goes down to 1 or 2 depending on location.

Cingular works awesome in Madison. Haven't dropped any calls, and I always have 4 to 5 bars.

Great reception, but I wouldnt recomend it for roaming. Also, SMS isnt that great either from my experiance, you cannot use SMS in a roaming area; but I always get good reception unless in a basement or heavily wooded area (or brick building). I personaly want a service that would let me use AOL Instant Messenger, so I might switch.

From what I hear, Verizon and ATT are the best services in Madison. I've also been told that Cingular and Sprint and HORRIBLE.

Works good enough...Never has dropped a call in my room. The building itself is thick stone, so it gets pretty good reception considering.
