No 3G reception issues with Verizon. Would be nice to have 4G though.

New Verizon towers are coming up. Read this in an article. MILWAUKEE, Dec. 5 / PRNewswire / -- Verizon Wireless has activated two new cell sites in Manitowoc County that expand network coverage, enabling more customers to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls; send and receive email and text, picture and video messages; and download games and ringtones while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls. Was a VZW customer for years; then switched to US Cell in MKE. Switched back to accomodate business partner. Moved to Manitowoc [north side] and reception is AWFUL! Weirdly, though it is almost consistently 3 / 4 of 4 bar service about 3.5 blks from home, out in the open. Live in heavily wooded area which must obstruct signal strength / quality. Been wondering if a booster might help?!

Switched carriers from Cingular to Verizon, glad I did as I went from not able to make or receive calls at home with Cingular to perfect reception with Verizon. Also, I travel between Sheboygan and Green Bay on a regular basis and I have not dropped a call with Verizon in the 3 weeks I have been with them. Dropped calls with Cingular were a normal occurrence when I had their service. One thing I have noticed with my phone is that even when I show no bars on my signal strength, my calls still have perfect clarity.
