My phone has pretty good reception everywhere- except where I need it most. I live by Wal-Mart in between two towers and the second I place a call, bars drop down to none. It's great everywhere else, I just don't appreciate having to walk around in my backyard to get reception.

All of Marshfield sucks with Alltel except for the south east side.

I go into analog service here and cannot place and recieve calls. I know people with Sprint and US Cellular that have no problem making calls here. I wish Alltel would build a new tower so service was available here. If you live in this area don't go with Alltel. I would suggest US Cellular.

Don't get reception with Alltel around the Lindsey, WI area or anywhere just Southwest of Marshfield, WI. I hear a rumor that US Cellular is getting a new tower in this area. I hope so.

Alltel recently put up a new tower in the southeastern part of town which greatly improved reception in the area. Before, calling was almost impossible as your call would be dropped or would not go through. Now I'm getting a solid four bars in my basement where I used to go into analog service. Great network improvement, Alltel, now the only place I might get a little trouble with service is just north of Marshfield on Hwy. 97.

Good reception all over town, Love the features, good plan rates, good customer service. Going north out of town I always drop a call and lose service for about 2 miles, then picks right back up and works great again. Would recommend it to anyone in the area because US Cellular only covers half the state of wisconsin unless you go with a nationwide plan and Cellular one is the same way.

Terrible reception on this side of town. Unless your up by the Marshfield Clinic where the tower is, good luck calling. Your call will probably be dropped or will be static.

Tower right in town, in fact, the only company I know of that has a tower here is Alltel. Also, we stayed at Mogasheen Resort and I was the only one who was able to make and recieve calls. I could get 2 bars with the antenna up and everyone else had no signal at all. Alltel has incredible coverage.

I have five bars at my house and even in the basement. Alltel has reception in small communites where other providers don't. Phones are pretty good, too. The only problem I have is losing reception pretty quick as I move away from the towers, although sound quality is fine once I get two bars. Average of three bars around town. There are towers where you think no one would get service. In fact I got service in the middle of the Chequamagon National Forest. I would say Alltel the second best wireless provider in Wisconsin, only being beat by US Cellular.

Am getting plenty of bars but no network access. Got it last night. Maybe AT&T goes home on the weekend here.
