US Cellular, from all the phone companies we tried here, they are the best, but nobody is perfect, can even call my wife if she is in any store, the hospital, or the clinic. Also have good reception in other US major cities and practically any state or federal road. Always looking for better deals. One thing about US Cellular is data charges. Paying for a 10GB limit, but no refund if we only use 1GB or none. But go one byte over, stiff surcharge. Should have a data carry over, after all we are paying for it. Used all different kinds of phones, doesn't seem to make much difference for reception or communication. Practically all are using the same LNA.Was this review helpful to you?
Use for my business line... ..Poor outside reception and no indoor reception. Purchased a network extender (expensive) and still crap for reception. Calls don't come thru most the time. End up with the phone showing I have a damn voicemail. Doesn't even show a missed call! Wtf! Verizon claims to be the "best", well they ought to get their heads outta their ass and fix it permanently instead of screwing with the service! I see them messing with the service (tower / data strength) at my home, 20 miles away, where I used to "always" have "perfect" service! Was this review helpful to you?
Ok anybody who lives in or by Lindsey wi lindsey is a dead zone for cell phones I garentee your not going to find any actual good service out there. I grew up in lindsey I do know what I'm talking about on that. I honestly figured I'd put thst info out there, there's a reason most houses out there have landlines. Was this review helpful to you?
Most of my calls either drop or have poor reception where the voices drop in and out. I sat directly on front of the Verizon store on central avenue and still struggled with reception. . Verizon sent me a replacement phone with the assumption my phone was faulty, but the reception was equally bad. None of my iPhones have gotten good reception since I moved here. Was this review helpful to you?
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY A PHONE!! Don't get AT&T! You will be sorry! They only have 2G (EDGE) here, and no connection would be better! Dropped 4 out of 5 calls here! For a city that has a huge hospital, you'd think you could get descent service, but no! Please get Verizon or Sprint! AT&T should be banned from selling phones here! Was this review helpful to you?
I moved to Marshfield recently and using an ATT phone. Signals are terrible all over area. I get 1 or some times 2 signals at my house so cant use phone at all. Close to Walmart, signals are 3 so it usually connects. Around St. Joseph Hospital signals are good so no problems. Internet usage is mostly not possible because of reception. I am thinking of switching over to sprint. I called ATT and told them about my reception. They said they wont waive my early termination because they claim they have coverage in town. so I have to pay the fees. Was this review helpful to you?
Got iPhone 4s, but AT&T failed to mention that we would be on edge this whole time, so much hassle to switch. Worst thing is their website says fine 3G coverage here... LiesWas this review helpful to you?
Am getting plenty of bars but no network access. Got it last night. Maybe AT&T goes home on the weekend here. Was this review helpful to you?
In the house I just moved into, the reception is terrible, however, I called Sprint and told them that and they sent me an airrave (cell phone extender) for free. Now I have perfect service at home. Throughout Marshfield and the surrounding area I have great service. I work in Abbotsford and have reception the entire drive up hwy 13, something that can't be said for other carriers. Overall, the service with Sprint has been awesome over the last 8 years and their customer service has always been exceptional. Was this review helpful to you?
Works well in most of Marshfield with their roaming partner Bug Tussel Wireless, or something like CDTNVMH1 or something like that. Great EDGE (2G) coverage throughout most of town and haven't had a dropped call yet. Even get signal in my parents basement. This was not the case a few years ago. Great improvement. Some of the north end of town connects to Airfire Mobile which gets good signal too, but is only GPRS (G) but my emails, Facebook, and Pandora still work. All good for sure! Was this review helpful to you?
