Cell reception not surprising since this location is within 1 / 4 mile of a major business area. What matters more to me is the 2G-EDGE connectivity on the iPhone - it's also near perfect in this area. AT&T EDGE Coverage maps indicate this area as not so good for 2G-EDGE. This zip is Menomonee Falls, but I'm right up near the county line and Germantown. The proximity to the 41 and 45 highways may be a factor because I've always had great success with cell phones near freeways and major arteries. Speaking of which, I have found that when on the "edge" of metro areas, i.e. the out-lying suburbs, reception for everything is fair to perfect if you can travel the main roads - regardless of your cell company.

I drop at least 4 calls a day if not more. My broadband functions at 10% or 0%. I'm buying new service today with a different provider.

My reception in the house is 0 bars and all Verizon is willing to do is SELL me a network extender for $250 to help build their network. Isn't that their job? My roots are to deep to change networks so I guess they win.

Signal strength is medium to low - the phone measures -92 to -100 dBm inside a building. Have no problem getting calls or data though. Have not missed a call or dropped a call in a month. Very happy with the service and the cost of Virgin Mobile. Glad I am out of contract with Verizon!
