US Cellular 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Kyocera & Motorola	Hwy. 51 / Cty J, Mercer, WI 54547	Tue May 30, 2006
	For the Mercer, WI (54547) and Northern WI area [TFF = Turtle Flambeau Flowage]... . Using the US Cellular Nationwide Roaming plan... all my family-plan cell phones - Kyocera and Motorola phones worked poorly [May, 2006]. Reception is very sporadic - the Motorola phones are even slightly worse. I would consider the reception as being unacceptable for use in this area. We had a friend that was using a Motorola phone on Cingular service and that worked much better - I would give it at least a good rating. Cingular [nationwide] service in this area would be an acceptable cellular service provider - and that is what I plan to switch-over to when my contract with US Cellular expires. We could also get service with US Cellular Nationwide in Hurley, WI and Iron, MI on highway 2... . but sporadic there as well. The trip between Mercer and Hurley Wisconsin was almost completely devoid of signal coverage for US Cellular. The Kyocera phone and Motorola phones have the current GPS and CDMA technology. I was very dissappointed.
