if reception don't get better by may of 2012, going to go to verizon.

Can't make a call in house without a signal amp booster. Outdoors you can get enough signal to make a call but it will break off regularly. In car is almost worse. We are on the Wis River 5 miles north of Merrill city limits.

Since the Alltel buyout by Verizon, Verizon now has the best coverage in Wisconsin, Too BAD their customer service sucks so BAD! The worst part is having to deal with Wireless Solutions in Merrill, WI. Stay away if possible from this company... even worse is the manager; John. DO NOT by any means buy anything with rebate... .You will NEVER receive it. In additon, do not have anyone at Wireless Solutions ever setup a new phone or change your phones, they will setup incorrectly EVERY time! You wil be forced to talk to Verizon customer support directly for hours fixing all of the programing mistakes.

Nearly 5 of 5 around city and 4 of 5 in out skirts. On Hwy. 51 you have no less than 3 of 5 bars between tomahawk and wausau then on 64 between antigo and medford you typically always have enough reception to make a call. Have not had a spot in the area with no rectption. On hwy 107 between merrill and tomahawk there is a dead spot that is about 2 miles long. Now mobile home owners, if your home is older with tin siding, you are going to have a hard time always being able to keep a call connected inside. Typically never more than 1-2 bars. This is better than my experience with at&t. With them you can barely receive or send a text in a mobile home let alone make a call.

AT&T recently changed coverage signal map to our area showing good reception, it used to be more truthful. Now the map lies! This is 2009 and same crap reception as Cellular One had. Comeon AT&T!

Get no or weak signal 5 miles north east of City limits with Cell One or Alltel either. We need a tower or 2 off of the Interstate up here!

Virgin has great reception throughout central and western Merrill but not outside the city unless you stay on hwy 51 / 39 north or south. No service inside Walmart or most of the east side businesses.
