I always have five bars everywhere in the city (except for my apartment). Also, I get at least three bars when I'm visiting my family out in rural areas.
Even though my phone is a pretty simple model, it works great. I always get 5 bars in the milwaukee and surrounding areas. What I really like is that my phone is both analog and digital. So when I am hunting up north my phone will automatically switch to analog and I can still make and recieve calls, even when my friends with their all digital models cannot. The analog mode drains the battery quicker, but I usually leave the phone off. At least I know that my phone will work if there is ever an emergency. All in all, I am very happy with both the phone and the service. P.S. My girlfriend had T-Mobile and it was the WORST! I can't tell you how much she hated it. They offered her a huge discount just to stay a customer, and she still dropped them.
How do I know that these reports are not made up by the companies themselves? I could just type in that Verizon is the worst and that AT&T is the best. Or is it the other way around?
This is my second Verizon phone and though I love the service, I can't get any reception in my office building. Neither can one of my employees who has a Sprint phone. The only person that can get a signal is the one with Cingular service.
Horrible reception. Phone does not work. This is my second sprint phone. They don't let me out of my contract and constantly put my issues off without getting back to me. They say they will "install new software" into my phone. This has never helped. Sprint is by far the worst provider I have ever had.
AT&T is awful, the run around the customer service people give you is riduculous. I have the MPx200 in Bayshore I get 2 bars the guy there behind the desk with his digital phone gets 5 bars. I don't get more than 3 bars anywhere in the city don't buy the MPx200 to talk, great if you want to sync with your computer but otherwise forget it.
