I have had U.S. Cellular since for 5 and 1 / 2 years now. The reception is fantastic. Service is reliable. I've worked in Green Bay and Oshkosh and have had no problems no matter where I am. U. S. Cellular is fairly expensive as I not only use it for my main phone but also my internet on a shared data plan. That would be my only negative about them. I see so many reviews about poor reception that I wonder why more people aren't considering switching their service to U. S. Cellular. Just my opinion.

I have been a customer for over 14 years and been in this location approximately 5 years and in past few months Verizon service is awful. Dropped calls, garbling noise, static. So they decide that now I am located in a so called marginal area. They sent me a booster which is also garbage. LOWSY ! I am so disgusted.

We had Verizon when we lived 60 miles north of Green Bay, and we had fantastic service. We now live in the New London area, and the service is still great. We can only think of a few areas that we have issues with our phones while we are traveling, but it sounds like those areas are a problem for other carriers as well.

Absolutely ZERO coverage. Roaming only. Horrible company. Do not use their services. The nearest tower is in GB.

Data service is sketchy. Don't try voice calling, drop every time. For what we pay for cell service $175.00 / month, we'd like to be able to drop our home phone but can't due to poor cell reception. Are you listening "can you here me now" guy. More towers please!

We went with Alltel because it had great reception until a few months ago when it joined with Verizon. Signal strength from our home is sketchy, numerous dropped calls. Call to Alltel customer service confirmed that they changed some things around with their towers at the time the 2 companies joined.
