I hate my service. I have 0 or 1 bar in my home. I have so many dropped calls it's rediculous. I can be driving on 894 and lose calls. Their customer service is no help at all. They keep sending "software updates"that have no effect. I can not wait to be rid of them. 4 months and counting. My husband drives for his job and hits so many dead spots it's unbelievable. They are supposed to be so great, we think they suck. When we had AT&T the reception was awesome. Cingular took over and now my phone is worthless most times. We have dropped calls, very delayed messages (more than an hour after someone calls we'll get the voicemail for a call that never rang). Our phones are crap, but in order to upgrade we have to sigh up for another 2 years. There are 2 chances of that happening: none and not a chance in h*ll. If Cingular was the only cell phone company available, I would cancel service and go back to land lines. The most pathetic thing is that there is a Cingular store on the corner, not 1 mile from my home.

reception would be 1 bar and always drop calls. In my office building I had a 50 / 50 chance of receiving calls. Texts would often take 15-20 minutes to send and receive. I was in my office, used my land line to call my cell while my cell phone was laying on my desk. The call went to voice mail and I received notication on my cell 10 minutes later that I had a voice message. I rep at the Sprint store said that Oak Creek (53154) has poor reception, but they are working on it. I returned the phones 72 hours after receiving them because the reception issues were so bad. Icing on the cake was the the iphone4 I received had the death grip problem to boot.

T-Mobile used to be so great... awesome reception almost everywhere, never had a missed / dropped call (and coming from my hellacious 3 years of AT&T [when they were still AT&T] then moving to Cingular after the merger where I constantly had voicemails showing up hours after being left with no missed calls registered and shoddy reception all over town). But the last few months, T-Mobile has gone to crap. I miss more calls than I receive. People constantly complain that my phone is "always off" or that I never return calls. More often than not, I will randomly get a voicemail and will have no missed call. Or the notification for a missed call shows up hours after I never got the call in the first place. Texting has become a nightmare. I just can't receive or send MMS anymore. For no apparent reason, either. The phone just won't connect to the network to send them. Or it says they're sent and the recipient never gets it. And vice versa. Lately email hasn't been updating. It's set to check every 5 minutes and it'll go sometimes 45 minutes before checking. Meanwhile, I've got Gmail open on my PC and have numerous emails... none of which my phone is registering (using IMAP since POP doesn't work for Gmail on T-Mobile's network). I was able to reply in Outlook Mobile to emails from any of my numerous accounts without any problems surrounding the emails being sent. Then, suddenly, without changing any settings, T-Mobile no longer allowed emails to be sent. Receiving (when it connects) works fine. Sending is impossible. Texts now come with the completely wrong time. If I get one at 4:17pm, it'll say it was received at 2:17pm. Others come in at the right time. Even in threads / conversations the fluctuations happen so messages get completely out of order. It's highly annoying. And in the last week or so, I've been getting "Log on to network" screens coming up asking for my Edge network credentials... which has never, EVER happened before and were never given to me. That usually stops after 10-60 minutes, but it keeps happening and is incredibly random. All in all, I'm pretty much over T-Mobile. I'm looking to move to Sprint for cheaper / better plans and the HTC Touch Pro.

If you have problem with your reception, make sure you call the customer service and also email them regarding this problem. Make sure they send surveyor to your area (although they don`t go inside your house but, thEY`LL check outside with o you knowing it). I did few follow up also as they promise to fix it after 120 days. They did not fix it until almost a year but, it`s worth it! I was really ready to switch cell provider. I stick with T-MOBILE for 1 year with crappy signal at home (o bar reception to 1 bar inside the house). Now my emails with them paid off. I`m now getting a FULL BAR SIGNAL inside my apartment. GREAT JOb T-MOBILE!

This is amazing! I just posted last night regarding our T-MOBILE signal here at PUETZ and Howell is not good. 1 BAR. Now I think they finished the tower closer here as they promised. Although it took them almost a year to finish. I`m getting an amazing full BAR SIGNAL inside our apartment. FULL BAR! Nice Job T-MOBILE! This is great!
