alltel is good here,,but it's very rural so can't expect much from any carrier... ..i can have a good conversation in a certain part of my drive... i am now working with a yagi antenna and it does improve signal... .thing is though it's best above the tree line... ..you no,,,line of sight... ..it is a directional antenna... ... point it to the best signal... .i was hoping for a internet connection... ..if I get it high enough,,,maybe... .oh,,,,,see google and wilson electronics for very good info and purchase... .

I have used Cellular one for years, and I can't even make a call from inside my home. Dead zones between here and Phillips, and here on Hwys. 70 going east. Lets not even talk about going up to Ashland. It is like everyother business around here. Get your money, and goodbye. I am goint to try SOMEBODY new, and soon.

I have four cell phones. LG, Motorola 262,etc.. I have also had Cell One and Alltel service providers. Currently, Alltel has much better reception. Combined with the newer Motorola phones reception is good. My Motorola gets 3-4 bars of service in my home while my 2 LG phones have 1 bar. I have found that all my friends with a Motorola phone recieve approx. 20% better reception. I do not use external antennas. Some phones do not receive any better reception with them. I have tried many antenna boosters and found them not to work any better. A quality phone with a good service provider is the best way.

I have tried many different phone carriers and not one of them work in Oxbo Wisconsin.

I have has Cell One now for 3 years and overall there reception rating has remained poor. They said after there GSM upgrade cell phone service would be much better not to mention that upgrade costs me 20$ more a month you would think that if you pay $80 a month for a cell phone you could at least have a conversation inside your home! I am very dissatisfied!
