Normally can not use the phone in town, let alone in my own home. Have been with Verizon for over ten years. Keep hoping they will improve. They don't. Have even complained to CEO and actually got a response. They aren't going to do anything about adding towers in this area. So this is what we are now stuck with. No hope for improvement. My daughter got really excited about the Motorola Q, so she got one. It burned out within TWO WEEKS because it kept searching for service in this town. It completely junked the phone. I had the same problem with a Palm. We have to keep using the old fashion phones to even be able to have a phone at all. Can not have one that can not be turned off. (Like the smartphones etc). Every now and then we can get a phone call. Every now and then we can get a text message. Can't make a phone call and very difficult to send a test message. Very very frustrating situation. But once you leave this area, Verizon works well. So what does a person do?
