Overall great. In partnership with Cellcom, which I had for a couple years. Probably overall the best in Door Co. along with Verizon. Weakest spot around Valmy. Bayside works the best.

Service intermittent with long outages

Got "No Signal" for the vast majority of the peninsula with AT&T. Didn't get a signal back until almost Two Rivers. Get Verizon, great voice coverage and 3G for almost everywhere in Door County

If I go outside and walk around my home I sometimes get 1 bar, which I immediately lose if I try to make a phone call. I bought this phone because of the advertised range of service, but can't use it close to my home. I'm out of luck if I have a car accident or have other emergencies.

Einstein PCS providing EDGE reception, along with another carrier (Bug Tussel Wireless?) iWireless ID no longer shows up on phone, instead cryptic carrier ID's like USA-330 and STCDMNWCV1 (also providing EDGE). This is bay side coverage, however lake side coverage is poor to non-existent.

A new Hudson Tower at 825 Egg Harbor Rd.hasnt helped AT&T or GSM users northeast of Sturgeon Bay sofar, maybe no AT&T agreement yet. Closest tower to Glidden Dr.is across the peninsula at Carlsville WI. Lakeside coverage still poor. No signal at Lily Bay County Park and boat ramp.

No reception with ATT. Gave up on their contract and bought an O2 prepaid card saving $550 / year.

Lakeside coverage gap from most towers being on the bayside of the peninsula. Occasional service from iwireless (Bug Tussel) tower near Carlsville. May be corrected in 2010 with addition of new 200' tower NE of Sturgeon Bay.

With AT and T I suffer from extreme dropped calls. County M N of C, HWY 57 - Brussels Hill, HWY 54 intersection by New Franken, 172 Bridge in Green Bay. Anything along the water on the Bayside from Edgewater Beach, to Cty N, Cty C, Sand Bay Road, Cty MM - its constant and frustrating.

GSM users (AT&T, T-Mobile) get EDGE service from iWireless by roaming agreements. 5 bars at the Wisconsin Motorcycle Memorial and Door Devils' Hill.

Downtown is a mix of Einstein PCS and iWireless (aka Bug Tussel) roaming agreements, with the later providing EDGE coverage throughout most of the Door County peninsula. AT&T currently has no towers of their own in Door County, which is a tourism mecca full of businessmen wanting to use their iPhones. Currently no 3G coverage. Best coverage is bayside, where you can also hit AT&T towers across the bay from Menominee MI. Quality drops off to zero along much of the lakeside.

Lakeside coverage poor due to tower location on bay side (but bayside coverage a good 5 bars). AT&T GSM coverage is thru partnership with Einstein Wireless / Airadigm (AT&T presently has no towers of their own in this county).

No signal at Lily Bay Park and boat launch (Sevastopol Township). Could be a problem for emergency services.

Poor reception in Valmy on Highway, but one hilltop away from the highway yields 3 bars.

Good reception (4-5 bars) in Sturgeon Bay proper. Also get 5 bars at the Fairgrounds / Walmart and Aurora Minor Emergency Center on Hy 42 / 57 and county road T. 3 bars at the recycling center, 1 bar at Glidden Lodge / Hitching post No reception at the Lily Bay boat ramp and county park.

Going north out of Green Bay loose signal about 10 minutes north of Green Bay and get spotty at best service until Sturgeon Bay. In Sturgeon Bay get average signal for Cingular. North of Sturgeon Bay get 1 at best.

Decent in-town rating, especially around Sturgeon Bay and points south along 42 / 57, and north up to Bailey's Harbor. Reception spotty around Bailey's Harbor- with older phone and battery.

I have had Sprint for 10 years and visit this area often. I love my coverage and was glad when they added service here. There was a time when I first got my service that it didn't work in this area but it has ever since.

have tried Verizon and AT& T - finally found fairly good reception with US CELLULAR. A Few dropped calls or static by the Quarry on CTY M but sporadic and minimal. No more dropped calls at Brussels Hill nor 172 in GB. Excellent covereage on the water while boating on the bayside. US Cellular best coverage so far but anxious for AT and T to get in board for the sole reason of the I-PHONE. Also - was able to get out of Verizon and ATT contracts due to lack of reception.

New cell tower at Valmy improved coverage.
