Same thing good signal in downtown Sun Priaire on Sprint until about two weeks ago. I called Sprint and after talking to several reps they all said no changes but offered me a box for free to hook to WiFi and use my phone. I said no as I assume it would support all other Sprint phones and I don't want that traffic on my high speed internet connection. Maybe they should pay me? Changing carriers - don't by Sprint in Sun Prairie

I used to get adequate reception in downtown Sun Prairie up until a few weeks ago and suddenly NO SERVICE. What happened?

My coverage is poor on the east side of sun prairie all of the way to Waterloo. I also had an HTC droid incredible from Verizon and the coverage was non-existence in this same area

Fantastic reception, never drop a call. Have had US Cellular for years, and always great coverage. The data is also excellent, never notice any areas where I cannot get internet. Best prices, great coverage, maybe the phones aren't the sexiest, but at least they work when I need them to!

When I moved to Madison from Milwaukee, I was shocked to find that I had a phone that I could not use. It would not work in my apt in Sun Prairie at all. They would not allow me to cancel the contract without a fee. Now, 1 year later I get some reception but still not good. My son who lives in Milwaukee is on a friends and family line with me, at least it works in Milwaukee. I have had to by pay by the minute phones.

We can't get coverage inside the rink. Everyone else seems to get better coverage than us. We are probably going to go with Verizon.

half the calls I receive don't ring the phone, go dircectly to voicemail. Signal too poor to use the phone downstairs in my house. Doesn't get much better when I step outside. been having these issues here for 2 years now and am tired of it. Going back to Sprint which has a tower half a mile from here.

My Reception in Sun Prairie used to be really good but in the last 4 months my reception has gone from 3 bars to 1 bar in my apartment and some areas to no reception. To make a phone call or send a txt message I have to literally stand out side. Poor Performance! Woof!

From my experience with other carriers through work phones, US Cellular clearly has the best "blanket" coverage of Southern / South Central Wisconsin. Certainly you'll have spots that are better or worse than other carriers, but in general... untouchable.

Was much stronger with AT&T. After switch to Cingular the ability to make calls went to ZERO and hasn't improved, but decreased. Route is North of Madison, South of Waunakee, West of Sun Prairie, and South of Deforest. Service was strong everywhere prior to ATT merger with Cingular. Start looking elsewhere!
