Finally after four months beyond the original deadline, the new tower north of Trego is up and running. Reception is a hundred times better than it was, still a couple of dead spots along the major highways and county roads but nothing like it used to be. In addition, my understanding with this carrier is that this area of the state was sorely neglected as far as being included in consistantly improving coverage. And the problem has been internally remedied. And the coverage will continue to improve. In addition I have also noticed consistant signal all the way to siren on highway 70. Now they just need to work on the Hayward south to Stone Lake area

Beating a dead dog here. I pay 45 bucks unlimited, my son piggy backs for 35 I pay total of 97.00 per month for no signal at home. I do have unlimited minutes and long distance on my plan but I have no signal to utilize this feature. I, like others signed up for the GSM wave of the future, two year contract, camera phone, also cost 185 dollars with a fifty buck rebate, and I feel like I poke myself in the eye anytime I call customer service. Keith was very nice but said he couldn't help me. I asked hime "What can cell one do for me?" I asked if it would be better to go back to digital. and he agreed. I also got a loaner phone from the Alltell company and had 3 bars at home in my kitchen, lr, etc. I am very dis-satisfied and have heard the whole song and dance about towers. yadayada.Well, because of 2 phones, I am hanging in there. My son gets good reception down at college so it works for him. I just feel that the GSM was mis-represented and I will be more careful next time. The insurance was worth it as they replaced my phone asap. One last thing. If I travel I don't get signals ie. out west, but I noticed on a website that new towers are being erected in Africa.
