I have been an AT&T (previously Cingular) customer for many years. I have also been going to Washington Island for many years. AT&T coverage on the southwest corner of the island gets its signal from a tower near Ellison Bay, but once you head inland away from the ferry dock the signal drops off to nothing quickly. Occasionally you can find a couple of high spots on the island where you can get a signal, but they are very hit-or-miss. One spot inland is near the Lutheran Church's Stavkirke.

No AT&T coverage anywhere inland from southwest corner of island. Closest towers are between Sister Bay and Ellison Bay.
