Two side-by-side iPhones show Verizon to be 2-3 times faster than Sprint (Nov 2011). Looking at 3 towers,.4 Mbps is all Sprint can manage consistently. Inconsistent data speeds throughout the day. For short periods sometimes 2 Mbps. According to Sprint these numbers are within normal specs. I guess they have no expectations of good service. Voice signal varies from 1-5 bars depending on how far out of town you go. Never 4 bars once you are a mile or so out. Internet drops to "No Service" 3-5 times a day.
