Well everyone I don't usually comment on these types of sites, but I thought I would convey some very helpful information. There is a company in Clarksburg, WV that sells Verizon (Nationwide Wireless), but they also sell an affiliate company. The other company they sell has Nationwide Coverage. It is No Contract, No Credit Check, and No Activation Fee. You get Unlimited Talk, Text, and Data for $50 a month that includes all taxes and fees! I'm not kidding! I bought a New Motorola Q9c for $75. It's too good to be true!

Verizon opens it's first store in this area at the Meadowbrook Mall on 12 / 1 / 2008. Verizon will dominate the area within one year.

VZW launched EVDO service as of the morning of 12 / 22 / 2011 in the Clarksburg / Bridgeport area. Three towers were turned on with more to come in the next few weeks.

I have noticed the same issue with 3G on my phone in the area. Is Verizon going to launch 3G in Clarksburg / Bridgeport and if so what is taking so long.

I agree with the previous Verizon posts get moving with enhancements. Your commercials are like wow and your largest 3G network claims are great, but not in Clarksburg WV. Put some of that capital money to work and add 3G coverage to the 26301 area code.

Pay attention Verizon this is ridiculous US cellular, Intellos, and Sprint all have EVDO in the Clarksburg WV area. AT&T will be launching EVDO soon and you are going to start loosing what few customers you have gained in this area. People in this area want services and value and US Cellular has both. At least give customers a timeline for this area, the folks that I know that use Verizon are not happy.

Just spoke to some folks in Tech Support and they say there are no roll out plans for EVDO / 3G in 2010.

Have had Verizon service since 11 / 2008 and have had excellent reception and 2 dropped calls. My only issue is that I left US Cellular because I thought VZW would be more progressive with EVDO in this area but that has not been the case. As of this date all carriers have EVDO in the area with the exception of Verizon and AT&T. If you are with US Cellular don't switch you can't beat the EVDO, perks, and the overall value of the service. If you are a VZW customer file complaints with tech support, your local authorized agent, and in email format through your online account. If you don't complain and they feel there is is not a need they will never upgrade this area!

Well to comment on the guy that says "Verizon will dominate within a year". He's obviously wrong. I am an agent located in Nutter Fort selling both Verizon and Ntelos. Ntelos continues to dominate the area and does at the time provide much better coverage than Verizon. This isn't even debatable. In the future 2011+ maybe, but not in the present. Ntelos is the only carrier worth considering.
