Had to switch from US Cellular, which I had been using for over five years, because I did not receive and service in the building that I work in. US Cellular still is probably the most consistent around these parts. Switched to Cingular - now ATT - because the service did work in the building as well as around town for the most part. Notice a loss of signal every now and then between here and Shepherdstown if you take some back roads. Chose Cingular over Sprint because I used to frequent Morgantown often and feel that Cingular works best for here and there. Cingular will lose signal three or four times between Berkeley County and Morgantown on I-68, but so will most.

Occasionally get 3-4 bars for a few seconds, occasionally shows EV signal is there. Have been driving from this area south on I-81 to the VA hospital and find the signal is only 1-2 bars most of the time. My actual carrier is nTelos but they use Sprint towers according to the customer service rep.

Hagerstown, MD and the west Virginia panhandle are going 4g lte on 10 / 20 / 11 wireless download speeds up to 30mb Oct 19, 2011 Currently in Falling Waters, WV I am roaming off US Cellar tower on the extended Verizon network as 'lte:14' with wireless download speeds of 8mb, and upload speeds of 3mb Lte roaming is faster than most 3g areas in Falling Waters, west virginia. So even if this area come tomorrow is outside 4g coverage area, the lte roaming speeds off US Cellular is still faster than 3g everywhere else. Nice!
