Occasionally get 3-4 bars for a few seconds, occasionally shows EV signal is there. Have been driving from this area south on I-81 to the VA hospital and find the signal is only 1-2 bars most of the time. My actual carrier is nTelos but they use Sprint towers according to the customer service rep.
Had to switch from US Cellular, which I had been using for over five years, because I did not receive and service in the building that I work in. US Cellular still is probably the most consistent around these parts. Switched to Cingular - now ATT - because the service did work in the building as well as around town for the most part. Notice a loss of signal every now and then between here and Shepherdstown if you take some back roads. Chose Cingular over Sprint because I used to frequent Morgantown often and feel that Cingular works best for here and there. Cingular will lose signal three or four times between Berkeley County and Morgantown on I-68, but so will most.
I am looking for a carrier that gets service consistintly in west virginia. I have Sprint but can only get services in larger cities like Morgantown, and Charleston. Very inconvenient when traveling. Any soutions?
