Verison is best to use for wvor tri-state area! Its way cheaper than AT&T and sprint! I use to have Sprint and I use to pay 185 a month for 2 phones now I only pay 126 for 2 nice way better bionic Motorola and the galaxy s! Way better than the Samsung intercepts I use to have!.

Alltel is the only cell service that has 5 bars at Spring Valley High School. All others such as Sprint, Cingular, and Verizon Wireless are lucky if they even get service at the school.

Great coverage inside Hospital, and all over Huntington. My old carrier Ntelos, worked just inside the front door of most "Big Box" stores but would drop out farther inside. My Sprint phone works everywhere, and the voices are clear,where my old phone was hard for me to understand.

Having been a TDMA customer from the analog days, I was fairly sceptical when my AT&T / Cingular acct rep started touting the new GSM system as exceeding TDMA. I still have a sore spot from leaving my analog bag phone for a little TDMA handheld. So, I stubbornly held out for two years after it's launch in the area. Until I left my cell phone on top of my car one day... that forced my hand - I *had* to have a phone! Boy was I a moron! Not only did I get more minutes and a lower bill by switching; I found that I had more coverage in areas that my TDMA phone ever had. I kept warning my clients that I may drop them going into certain areas and it didn't happen. It was like night and day... Very happy here!

Not too many problems... does not work well on Mt. Union Rd.or Cabell Huntington Hospital.

I have yet to find a dead spot with Alltel through 4 states. Even out in the middle of nowhere, I had reception when others, using other carriers, did not. A few times I've had a little bad reception, but never a dropped call. However, Alltel customer service leaves something to be desired. So bad that I nearly chose another service my second time around. I just couldn't justify the loss of quality over their bad representatives.

All over huntington I drop calls about every five minutes of talk time... Goes from 4-5 bars to no service to 4-5 bars in seconds. I think it may be the phone more than the carrier.

Pretty good reception. Sometimes drops calls out on Rt. 75. Alltel's reception is a lot better than what it was when I had AT&T.

Service varies all the time with Cingular, particularly today, service will go in and out on a whem. Then when you try to call customer service they are no help most of the time!

With my nTelos service, I have to make calls on my front porch. My service does not work inside my house. With my ATT / Cingular service pay as you go phone, I can make clear calls from anywhere in Huntington.
