T-Mobile's coverage map claims coverage in Morgantown, but the reality is you must roam on AT&T's network. Customer service gives you a bit of a run-around when you contact them about this zip code. Was this review helpful to you?
US Cellular has terrible coverage. Often lose the signal at my house. They always tell me that the reception should be great. And their customer service is horrible. Long waits on hold for no service! AVOID!Was this review helpful to you?

Strong 4g LTE signal throughout the majority of Morgantown. Well developed in the interstate triangle of I79 and I68.Was this review helpful to you?
As soon as I arrived in this town, my phone started roaming to AT&T. I have not gotten service from T-Mobile since I got here, and I ended up "exhausting my data roaming allotment." So I lost my ability to use data. When I called T-Mobile about it, they refused to help me. Very bad service. Was this review helpful to you?
Us cellular is the only way to go in greater morgantown Area especially if you use data its completely blanketed with 4g lte even the more remote surrounding adeas where Sprint Verizon and AT&T barely have 1x. And you dont have to worry about roaming either plus they have a 50 a month no contract unlimted talk text and data (data is limited after a few gb. No question uscellular has a lock on morgantown everybody else is roaming on and off Verizon and sprint. AT&T cant compare either. Was this review helpful to you?
I have Virgin Mobile, which is carried by Sprint. I've bn using it for about 3yrs. Service WAS great for the first year, then it started getting bad. Now, within the last 6 months the internet 3G service is almost impossible to use and making calls is horrible now too. Definitely don't recommend it for the area anymore. Was this review helpful to you?
I've had AT&T and Iphone for several years. More than half calls get dropped. I have called numerous times to complain. Their solution was to provide me a micro-cell tower. The tower is always shown as connected to my iphone except when I get or make a call. Then, half the time it cuts out. I've spent hours with AT&T customer service. They don't seem to know much. They've replaced my micro-cell twice: no improvement. I've also found AT&T service pretty poor when traveling, even on the interstate. I'd switch in a heartbeat if I knew a competing service that was definitely any better. Was this review helpful to you?
This is terrible! I can't find a decent signal anywhere in this town. Was this review helpful to you?
I'm on the $25 / month no-contract AT&T plan. Everywhere I go in Morgantown I get great reception, even when I make international calls. I've never used 3G data with AT&T so I can't comment on that. I think AT&T is a safe and affordable choice for students. I'm thinking of switching to Virgin Mobile right now though, because my friend has been using it in Morgantown for 3 years with great reception too, and she has 3G internet for a low price. I swear I'm not affiliated with either of these companies! Was this review helpful to you?
