i always have reception in my house and all over morgantown--even driving from morgantown to pittsburgh. I can send or receive pix messages, though, which irritates me to no end. it says that I am outisde of national coverage area. but I can send / receieve regular text messages. I think I am constantly roaming though...

I've never had a dropped call in Morgantown or on the road between Morgantown and Fairmont or along I-68. Great coverage.

My parents live near the Morgantown Mall and I usually get reception when I visit them. Sometimes I'll drop a call, but it usually works in their house.

Great service here with Alltel (which has America's largest wireless network). I always have all 5 of my bars. Calls, texting are great. Only thing I can't do here is access the internet / AIM and download anything, but I don't do that much anyway. I'm roaming here, but I can grab a signal off nearly anybody's tower.

We have had Sprint for two years. Basically, we are very happy. We will probalby renew in October with Spring again for two years. Service in Morgantown, Clarksburg, Charleston, Huntington is good. Outside of those areas service is spotty at best. Service goes a short way into PA then no service until you get almost to Pittsburgh, PA.

My Cellone Story... . My wife and I were loyal Cellone customers with their TDMA service. Their plans met our needs and their price point was acceptable we payed 29.99 per month for 400 minutes free nights and weekends and Free mobile to mobile. We started receiving promotionsin the mail to switch form our digitral service to GSM very attractive promotions an extra hundred dollars credit on our account free Nokia 3620's free data package for three months nation wide roaming / LD. Their propaganda spouted how wonderful their GSM service was better quality better reception. So we signed up. (even though it was 10.00 more per month per line than our old service) We were in for a huge surprise. After being used to our flawless TDMA service our GSM service was useless dropped calls unable to make calls and worst of all horrible call quality words were missing syllables whole sentences were lost. This was more frustrating than the droppping calls. I called cellone and they assured me they were aware of the problems and they were being worked on. I asked to switch back to our TDMA service and they said they could do it but they couldn't put us back on our original plan because it was no longer being offered. Well that really sucked because both my wife and I work in PA and the only plan with free roaming in that area was now double what we were paying just one month ago. I was not a happy camper and cellone refused to be helpful in any way besides giving me a onetime curtesy credit of $15.00 for the poor service. It really sucked that we were paying 80.00 per month to use phones which were in effect useless. To make a long story short after about 2 months of horrible service (essentially no service) and another 5 months of very spotty service finally things got to the point of being almost as good as the TDMA service and now I have a 3 miles stretch of 79 that was never covered by the TDMA service that is now covered with GSM however there are still problems on 68 that were never there with the TDMA service. (I take 79 and my wife takes 68 to / from work) So we are finally at a point now were are service is acceptable not stellar mind you but acceptable.

Recently switched to Verizon Wireless. Used Clarksburg, WV zip code. Service is amazing, much better then what we have with Sprint and AT&T. A bunch of my friends are about to switch too. Service is great.
