Absolutely no service issues / dropped calls, Verizon Wireless came to West Virginia officially in Summer of 2008 and service has been excellent. There EV-DO 3G has very good speeds in the 1-1.5 Mbps download / 500-800 Kbps upload in this area.

AT&T has great coverage now here in Teays Valley as well Huntington and Charleston. They added 3G here in July of 2008 and they have spent a lot to improve their network here in WV. I have no dropped calls ever on my iPhone 3G.

Very good service, I would recommend Alltel as having the best signal around here. I have a full signal where I live off of Teays Valley, at the Kroger, and about everywhere else here. No problem here making or receiving a call anywhere, no problem traveling to Charleston, No problem traveling up to Winfield where I'm originally from and still have a lot of family. Alltel really does well all over this region of West Virginia.

Cingular clearly has the best service then anyone, especially in West Virginia. Sprint clearly SUCKS!

Never really ever have any dropped calls in this area, Service stays between 3-5 bars usually (as long as I'm not holding my iPhone 4 in the death grip spot). 3G data speeds in this area are around 1-1.5 Mbps download and 400Kbps - 1Mbps on the upload.

Calls are dropped constatly. I'll start a call with five bars then it will drop off. Who knoes why?

Hit and miss reception, not sure what causes the problems because we are very near I64 and get good reception there. Voicemails will "catch up" (i.e. 5 at a time) on the way to work as the signal gets better. If anyone has good reception between Teays Valley Rd.and Winfield on Rocky Step, let me know, my contract with AT&T is up and I am a free agent.
