please fix the towers n welch wv. or give us more.

I live on Stewart St.in Welch, WV. The ATT towers are in major need of repair / upgrade. There is an ATT tower 1 and 1 / 2 miles away that doesn't work. So you are trunkaded to a tower that is 25 miles away. You will get reception for approximately 4 minutes then get bumped off the tower. No signal for at least 5 minutes, then to reappear for another couple of minutes. (continuing the cycle). Your best bet is to attempt to text your message. It take less signal and will repeat attempts 3 or 4 times before finally transfering the text. But forget it if you want to voice call on the phone. I have had several phones and plenty of neighbors who have the same problem. AT&T admits to the 2 tower problems yet have not fixed them for over 2 years. I can't believe I am paying hundreds of dollars a month just to text my friends. FIX THE TOWERS PLEASE

My husband and I have the GoPhones and they give us excellent service almost all through Welch and all the way to Gary... Going in that direction. We are happy about that, but we don't get any signal toward Gilbert or anywhere like that, wish we did though.

Cell service needs to be increased as it is a shame you pay for the service and have limited usage. The only provider that you can utilize in the Welch area is Cellular one -- what a monopoly I had Cellular one but changed to Sprint and like the service 10 to 1 if only I could use it in McDowell County.
