Since the day I came to Bay Minette, I have only been able to get a roam signal on my phone. Now, everytime I try to make a call from Bay Minette, I get a NETWORK BUSY message. Sprint says its not thier problem because it's not thier network.
Service drops off somewhere along hwy 155 towards jemison. When I turn off on Hwy. 46, reception is already gone. No reception anywhere around where I live. It becomes very annoying and there is so much land out here... I'm sure someone will allow T-Mobile to put up a tower. Heck, I will let you put it on my 55 acres. There has to be a better way of getting reception to people. This is ridiculous.
I live 2.0 miles from Wal-Mart. I have little to no reception inside and very limited reception outside. Outside wal-mart, there are 4 bars, inside Wal-Mart, 1-0 depending on the location inside.
Hwy. 53 from Dothan is perfect until you get about 4 miles below Cottonwood and then reception is no more. Verizon and Alltel were the only two that would carry me down this far but my mother has Alltel while I have Verizon and neither of them works good about 4 miles outside of Cottonwood.
Cingular terminated me due to excessive roaming. Verizon said would put good signal in area and order local numbers for area. If Verizon wants business in Randolph County AL they could catch lots of Cingular customers if they move fast or T-Mobile will get them with their new 850 mghz roaming agreements.
