I have tdma from the old AT&T network. I had this service for ten yrs and never am I lacking for a signal but now things have changed. I kept getting the Verizon network that would not place my calls. Very sporadically I'd receive an AT&T signal but then would get dropped. They've been trying to get me to switch over to gsm but I've resisted because of alot of where I go is roaming or analog. There's something going on people and it stinks!

From the Troy city limits driving south on 87 and on to 331 south to 85 s going to crestview there is almost no reception at all. Some service with roaming in opp area
I have tried multiple phones, and carriers. Cingular, Nextel / Sprint, Southern link, Verizon. Poor to no service in this area and all the companies give you the run around. Bottom line, cell companies want your money! They all give you the run around, when they switched from the old analog with few frequencies, to digital with more they got greedy, quality and service took a back seat and seperating you from your money took priority! If they're lips are moving, its a lie! They make used car salesmen look like saints!

People all around are using Cingular but my Verizon never works at my work. My husband works in Huntsville and his Verizon phone drops calls all the time. Verizon customer service is no help at all, just keep reminding us that there is a $175 disconnect fee if we choose to terminate service, never mind that we can't even use our phones at work.
Most of highway 165 from 431 through Fort Mitchell is completely dead. There is no reception except on a few hilltops. My wife has a Verizon phone and gets moderate coverage in these same areas.
