Calls ALWAYS drop between AL 119 (Cahaba Valley Rd) to (Valleydale Rd), on I-65 going in either direction. Service also drops on I-459 in the Liberty Park Area. Nextel service STINKS !

1 mile past cottage hill, on dawes road my phone gets no signal. sometimes it shows 1 bar but it leaves again pretty quickly.

I tried to place a 911 Emergency Call to report a crash and it gave me a no service message. Had to drive to Hueytown to call 911 and get to Jefferson County 911.

As of January 20th, I have no reception on my phone in most of the New Hope or Owens Cross Roads area. Cingular said gsm network down. There is a tower about 5 miles from my home. Can't get much reception right at tower. My husband has digital phone has great reception. Only GSM has problems... ..

This is bad... .I want to stay with Cingular but I am going to have to switch because there is NO COVERAGE at my house or where I work which is in Eclectic, AL. There are two new towers in my area, but ITS not Cingular.
