LG enV (VX9900)
Ridge Trail-Killingsworth Cove, Gurley / Killingsworth Cove Rd. intersection, Gurley, AL 35748 Fri Jul 11, 2008

I subscribed to Verizon on their assurance that my area has cell phone coverage. Bull! Even though I'm 1 / 3 of the way up the mountain in Killingsworth Cove, my new LG enV got zero coverage in most parts of my house and very poor coverage in a couple of spots. (Additional note: T Mobile is completely unavailable out here).

72 East and Killingsworth Cove / 72 East Close To Brownsburg Rd. intersection, Gurley, AL 35748 Sat Dec 24, 2005

Spots on 72 East close to Brownsburg Rd, in Gurley and Killingsworth Cove Rd. There are either no reception or very poor maybe one bar. I wander if the towers are turn down. There at spots all along 72 east that just drops calles. I have a tri-mode phone. Its seems to pick up the best of any I have tried.

Nick Davis Rd. / Wall Triana Hwy. intersection, Harvest, AL 35749 Tue Aug 02, 2005

Up until a month ago had good to poor reception inside my home. Now I get nothing 75% of the time, without moving an inch, 30 seconds later sometimes I get 3-4 bars, which drops off again fast. Changes daily, from nothing to one maybe two bars. Something has changed because I hardly ever had no reception before, just low.

Airport Rd., Lacey's Spring, Alabama 35754, Laceys Spring, AL 35754 Wed Oct 20, 2010

I live in Lacey's Spring, AL. Just like the post below, since the beginning of October I have NO SERVICE at all. It used to be a little hit or miss, but I was able to go outside and make or receive a call. Now, I have no service what so ever. There are 3 people in my home who use AT&T phones. None of us have any service at all. So frustrating! I pay for unlimited text on my phones and we can't even text from home anymore. Our phones are useless at home!

Its been this way for 2 years and nothing has been done. I have no reception at my work place so I may be changing soon. My contract expires in February. It's funny that the coverage map shows this area to be in the best reception range. That is just not so.

My grandson and his wife live at the address and have no use on their cellphone. It is AT&T. Why can't AT&T do than that.

For the past six years and multiple cellular providers I have not had any cellular service at my house. I presently use Verizon, but my plan is up for renewal next month. I have noticed that a new cellular tower has been erected about 1 mile from my house on Frank Hereford Road, and I'm trying to find out what cell phone company is presently installing their electronics on this tower. If anyone knows this information, please post a response back to this forum, thanks!

Little Cove Rd.At McMullen Lane, Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763 Thu Aug 10, 2006

Occasionally we get reception, but only until we move 1 millimeter. High Point Mtn apparently blocks Verizon signal, which tower I assume is on Monte Sano. Had no luck with T Mobile or Sprint here, and Cingular got bad before we switched 2 yrs ago to Verizon. Totally dissatisfied with all of them. May go naked for awhile (i.e. no cell phone).
