Looking forward to getting cell phone connections

No recieption for two days, no explaination from AT& T

No cell coverage at all in Anchorage or Kodiak. No roaming capabilities either.

No coverage anywhere in or around town. My phone detected a cellular signal, but it wouldn't connect to the network. My guess is the cell providers don't have a roaming agreement with Sprint.

i just was wondering if anyone knew how good cricket's reception was?? I was thinking of switching to this carrier for it has a far better deal and saving money. But I would like to know if the coverage would work in Seward, AK before I switch.

there is no Sprint coverage in Ketchikan Alaska. You can roam to another carrier, but the data function in both of my Blackberry phones still wouldn't work. I have a Pearl 8130 and my wife has the Curve 8330 and their data works fine in our home town of Memphis, TN. Actually, they started working fine as soon as we got back into Washington state. Good luck with Sprint coverage in Alaska and I hope this info helps you plan ahead. Doug :)

Absolutely no Sprint reception in Skagway. No CDMA roaming partners either, tough luck.

Living around mile 10 off Spur Rd.and at cubby's market, etc... ..no reception. AT&T is a waste of time! I took back all phones.

Horrible never bard anywhere since they stopped roaming off a little company in town here. They suck!
