Cingular claims to have more bars in more places Bwah hah hah hah. What really sucks is I have a 2 year contract. I lived in CO and Cingular worked best there, but since moving to Phoenix, well lets just say I am going to have to have 2 cell phone carriers. Thanks so much, Cingular.

Swithed from an ATT plan and Nokia phone. Service was poor but at least acceptable.

I have had many phone services but Cingular is absolutely without question the poorest reception of any phone service in Tucson no matter where you are. Dropped calls all over town as we drive. Standing in Wallmart and watching a kid talk on Verison while we cannot even get on tick ! I do not recommend this service to anyone that lives in Tucson and who need to be on the road.

Tried two different phones after upgrading and still no service. tried calling home from mt. Shadows and the reception was terrible, kept breaking up. Best to said for Cingular is that it's not worth even looking into, service is virtually nonexistant.

I spent a week at the mentioned location, and the minute I turned off of 48th street into the location I was working, I lost all signal. I was not able to use my Cingular phone and had to forward all calls to a Verizon cell phone.

Cingular has absolutely NO reception in my home or within a mile. Drops almost half the calls and their support is absolutely horrific. If you need to call, have some time to burn because you'll be on the phone for hours!

Reception is lost a little before San Tan Heights as I'm heading east on Hunt. No signal at all ever at home, inside or out. Want to switch service providers but then I have to pay $300 in early termination fees. I love my unlocked SMT5600 but I think it will only work with GSM. Not sure about digital. Something's got to give. I need to have service!

Reall bad reception at our business address. Too bad these were for business phones. We'll be looking into cell number portability to get a better carrier.

I get "no service" or "Emergency Only" all the time now. I loved ATT TDMA service... GSM SUCKS. I got dropped calls all the time around AZ Mills Mall, dropped calls on Southern and Mill. Reception in my house is 0. no service. I have to stand outside to get 1-2 bars... and even then it cuts in and out.

Very bad dead zone in Wigwam Creek community and the Albertson's plaza at Dysart and Indian School Rd. I spoke with a rep at the Cingular store just up the road and he agreed that it was a dead zone and they hope to get more towers there. When? He had no idea. He recommended I switch to Motorola phone, but my neighbors use various types of phones and carriers and still get awful reception in their home, yard, driveway, and going around the community.
