... in and around Fry's grocery... I thought Verizon was bad - would take 3 calls for a 2 minute conversation. Sprint is worse! I can't even place a call. Two Blackberries in store - 8530 and 9650 (Curve and Bold) and both had -114 dBm. Went out to parking lot to make call and the signal went down to -122! I've never seen such horrid numbers. At my house, which Sprint said was their best coverage area, I get about -102 dBm and marginal coverage. Had to get the Airave and even it has issues. Sprint can't provide what they brag about. I'm sick of hearing about "most reliable 3G" and now 4G - they can't get basic coverage anywhere I go.

At UMC, where coverage is important when waiting for patients to come our of surgery, there are zero ATT bars inside, and even outside in front of the main entrance, not enough signal strength to hold a call. This is in any area when many people on other networks are making calls.

Spent several days in and around Talking Rock Ranch residential community. No reception at all. (Phone display said "Emergency Service Only" - but I could not get a dial tone.) Reception kicked in when I headed for Chino Valley (made a call from the Safeway Parking lot), or when headed several miles further south on Williamson Valley Rd toward downtown Prescott.

Stay away from AT&T! The service is horrible! I should of never left Verizon. I will be paying the ETF and leaving!

One bar a good days, 0 on others. Indoor reception non-existent.

Lake Mojave resort at Katherines Landing used to have moderate reception. Jan 2010 it is gone.

No AT&T service in Ajo area of Arizona

No reception in American Express Office and around that area, also in the Mall.

I rarely get sufficient bars to complete a call from my home area. Moving outdoors does not make much difference. I might start out with 5 bars, but it quickly deteriorates to 0 and drops the call.

Service is HORRIBLE in Eagle Mountain. Signal goes in and out all day. Sometimes you get 3 or 4 bars (for a minute or so) and then NO SERVICE for HOURS. This occurs with all 3 Verizon users in the household (all using different model Verizon phones). NO SERVICE drains your battery as your phone is constantly searching for a signal. When you do get a call one thing is guaranteed, you better get off fast or you are going to be dropped. I have NEVER been able to hold a call more then a minute or two which is why I rated the RECEPTION as 0. Once you get down Shea about a mile in either direction, service is fine. This has been an ongoing problem for a long time and Verizon keeps saying there is no problem or that they are working on it. I use my phone in travel / buiness and have no problems anyplace else in the country which is why I have not switched YET. If you live in this area and expect to use your phone from home, then I would seriously consider an alternate carrier. Good luck.
