We do not get any reception at our home, located in the Arizona Traditions community, which is about a 1 / 4 to 1 / 2 mile from the Willow Canyon HS tower. Outside the community our reception ranges from 2-5 bars, no matter where we are. Cingular cannot give us an explanation. We have even replaced our original phone.

I have had T-Moble for one year now and the service is horrible, my children will text me and maybe I will get it in a week! All my calls are dropped within 1 minute, I have to drive away from my house in order to talk on my phone. T-Mobile told me per there contract they don't gurantee service in a certain location. I have provided my children with cell phones so they can call me when they get home from school and in case of an emergency. You can't depend on T-Mobile service.T-Mobile does not work in gilbert but they would make me pay until my contract is up. Thank god, my contract is up this month and I am not renewing. I called customer service and all they did was tell me that they would charge me for cancelling my contract if I did it early. Even thro they can't provide service. Insane. I even threatened to call channel 3 (On your side). I will tell everyone I know not to use T-Mobile.
Odd, this Alltel. I just switched from Sprint (don't ask me why - just kick me!) and have found that SOMETIMES I have coverage in my neighborhood (Desert Hills) with Alltel and sometimes not! This past weekend I couldn't make a call at all. Today (Monday) no problems! I am (as are many of you) caught up in a new 2 yr, so yep - no recourse except to say "thanks for the s_x lady" and move on - no longer term potential here! LOL Seriously, does anyone in my area (Desert Hills) get good service on Alltel while at home? If so, perhaps it is my phone. Post here if you can. Thanks!
I live about 500 yards north of Baseline and 72nd Ave, there is no reception in or around my home. the reception is good as long as you stay on Baseline Rd. T-Mobile said they would have a technician come out to the area and check it out and get back with me. will update when they do.

Sprint SUCKS in the entire BHC area. They always have sucked. From day one 8 years ago when they promised me new towers (yes towers) to date they SUCK. The best thing to do is drive around untill you get a signal, stop right there and make your call. If you are lucky you might get 3 - 4 minites before being dropped. Sprint you SUCK!
Cingular claims to have reception in this area, per their maps and sales reps. Fact is, no coverage exist from cingular, period. Also, in Payson area, you have to dial 1 and area code to dial a number in your same area code, say 480. If phone number is a block number, you will not be able to call it from Payson area and close by, with cingular.
I live in this area. Nearly every call since 12 / 22 / 06 has been dropped. Alltel refuses to ackowledge the problem. The problem exists on phones other than mine and on 2 phones I have and in other areas. Customer service is non-existant. The Prescott Valley office will not answer their phone.
