In our home we get very little or no reception. Tons of dropped calls if they do come through.Texting seems to be ok, (less signal required), but if you use your phone to talk, it's worthless in our home. The Motorola v557phone goes dead in 1 / 2 a day because it's says "Emergency Only" all the time in our house. ATT says we're right in the middle between two towers, but the coverage stinks. Had Alltel a few years ago and that was slightly better, but not much.

... in and around Fry's grocery... I thought Verizon was bad - would take 3 calls for a 2 minute conversation. Sprint is worse! I can't even place a call. Two Blackberries in store - 8530 and 9650 (Curve and Bold) and both had -114 dBm. Went out to parking lot to make call and the signal went down to -122! I've never seen such horrid numbers. At my house, which Sprint said was their best coverage area, I get about -102 dBm and marginal coverage. Had to get the Airave and even it has issues. Sprint can't provide what they brag about. I'm sick of hearing about "most reliable 3G" and now 4G - they can't get basic coverage anywhere I go.

Cannot connect at my location which is roughly 500 feet from the corner of 51st Ave and West Camelback. There are 4 cel towers visable from this location. My signal strengh is usually -109 (no bars).. When I had Sprint I had 5 bars here. I wanted the iPhone which I have had since it's introduction. During this time I have had only 5 months of good signal ATT told me that my luck was caused by their renting towers AT&T new motto. "Less bars in anyplace!"

Central / Fremont intersection, Phoenix, AZ 85041 Sat Jul 12, 2008

Intersection of Central and Fremont gets horrible reception. Typically, Poor to No Reception. Driving down Fremont into the neighborhood between 7th Ave and Central, signal jumps between No Reception and Below Average (most times you can see 1 or 2 bars, however outbound calls fail and text messages can't be set and "No Service" appears during the call / SMS attempt ). Typically the "Below Adverage" rating is only while the phone is idle, so it is possible to receive SMS or calls, however answering the call or keeping the call established is nearly impossible.

Constant dropped calls very slow to load, sometimes doesn't load at all really sucks considering I pay nearly 200 a month for three phones and all three get bad reception called customer service numerous times to no avail. They really should invest in better towers I think I will go to Verizon now.

Most of the time there are 0-1 bars. On the rare occassion it has 3 bars that signal is dropped when the other person picks up the call. Going outside helps but if the wind blows the bars drop. Others with other carriers get reception with no problem while in the same room. Switching carriers soon.
